MagicCodingMan.com is hosted using Microsoft Azure, and I use Azure App Service Insights to gather basic information that helps me understand how the site is used. Rest assured, no personal data is collected, and there is no advertising or sale of information here. This project is all about helping the community grow through knowledge sharing.

What Data is Collected

The data I track is limited to:

Unique Session ID: This is stored in your cache and helps differentiate unique visitors from returning ones.

Page Accessed: I log which pages are visited to learn which content is most popular and what people find useful. This allows me to improve and adapt based on user engagement.

What Data is Not Collected

There is no collection of personal information—no names, emails, or any other identifiable details. Additionally, there is no use of advertising or third-party trackers. This site is solely for the purpose of providing valuable community content with no hidden motives.

Tracking Methods

I use server-side tracking to detect page views and access patterns. A single SignalR call is made to your client when the page is loaded to retrieve your browser type and a unique user ID. I have made no effort to hide this process. You can see the JavaScript method getUserAndBrowserInfo by pressing Ctrl+U and inspecting the script tag directly.
